As reported by The Hollywood Reporterwhich cites some sources, DC Studios has put a film in development which will feature the villains Bane and Deathstroke, written by Matthew Ortonwho worked for Marvel Studios on the screenplay of Captain America: Brave New World.
At the moment, the site underlines, there is no director involved in the project. DC Studios and Warner are convinced that supervillain adaptations are having an excellent response, especially after the success of Joker and, more recently, the good reception found by the serial The Penguin on HBO, starring Colin Farrell.
