“At the end of the afternoon on Friday, a driver was hit by a passenger,” De Lijn spokesman Marco Demerling told our colleagues in Bruzz. “Another driver came to the rescue, but was bitten by the attacker.” The De Lijn drivers attached to the Overijse depot then decided to stop work. Both lines 343 and 348 were disrupted. The two victims were transferred to hospital. The drivers on sick leave resumed their services this Saturday morning.
