Deadly Shooting at US Consulate in Jeddah: Nepali Guard Killed during Attack

The guard was a Nepali national. He was first wounded during the exchange of shots and later died.

He added that the building was locked down and “the Americans were not injured during the attack.”

The United States consulate is located in the Al Muhamadiyah district, in the city of Jeddah, an important point of entry for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who celebrate these days the Hajj or the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.
