Remembering Nonie: A Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Nonie passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Tipperary University Hospital’s Slievenamon Unit. Nonie’s family remembers her as a kind and devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Breda (Guerin), son-in-law Shane, grandchildren Emily, Luke, JP, and Alison, brothers Jim and Michael, sisters Veronica, Patricia, Geraldine, and Tina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, and friends in both Ardfinnan and Midleton. Those wishing to pay their respects may visit Nonie’s daughter’s home in Bilberry House, Midleton, Co Cork (P25H993) on Thursday, January 2nd, and Friday, January 3rd, from 4pm to 7pm. A Requiem Mass will be held in her honor at the Church of the Holy Family in Ardfinnan at 12 pm on saturday, January 4th. interment will follow at St. Finnian’s Cemetery, ardfinnan. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral mass will be livestreamed on the Ardfinnan Parish livestream service at www.churchservices.tv/ardfinnan.
