A video clip is circulating on social media that its publishers claim depicts a lip augmentation procedure for a young girl in a cosmetic clinic. However, the claim is wrong and the video was published by the owner of a beauty salon in Azerbaijan for the purpose of entertainment, and the girl shown in it was not injected with any cosmetic substance.

The video depicts a young girl lying on a bed, while a woman applies powder to her lips and later uses what appears to be an injection.

At the end of the video, the girl appears in a new look with makeup on her face. He wrote in the caption accompanying the video, “A circulating clip of a clinic that uses methods to plump children’s lips.”

The video received tens of thousands of interactions on social media, and many believed that the girl had her lips injected to make them appear larger.

However, the syringe shown in the video is not equipped with a tip or substance inside, and the woman suggests that she is using the syringe, but in reality she does not do so.

The video garnered tens of thousands of interactions across social media. It is an entertaining clip

In light of this, a search for the video using the name written on the pillow indicated that it was published on March 2, 2024, on a page belonging to a beauty salon in Azerbaijan.

In a letter to Agence France-Presse on April 3, 2024, the owner of the beauty salon, Gulnar Aliyeva, indicated that she filmed this video and published it “solely for entertainment,” and that “the girl’s lips were not injected at all.”

Aliyeva said that the girl shown at the beginning of the video is not the same as the one who appears at the end, and that they are sisters and relatives.

She added that in our hall, we do not perform plastic surgery or injections even for adults.
