• Recently, I released the song “Ma Istghani”, composed by Faisal, and produced by Fayez Al-Saeed..Why did you change the composer?
– I did not change the composer, and I cannot change it (laughs), but the poet Abdullah Al-Mulhim – and this is my second collaboration with him – offered me this work, and told me that he had a song with ready-made melodies, and he imagined it with my voice, and he loves to present it, and when I heard the melody I loved it, And I felt that it was the song of my singing color, and I felt that it was mine, then I took the opinion of Professor Fayez Al-Saeed, and he did not object, because in the end the artist must diversify his work.
• In the language of numbers.. What is the number of this song in your artistic career?
– Excluding patriotic songs, this is the sixth song of emotional and popular songs.
• Isn’t this a small number in 3 years, especially since you started presenting two songs at once, and we expected heavy production from you?
– Yes, the number is very small, and I have songs with long periods between them. I think that the main reason for this is my lack of full dedication to art, as the reason for my negligence is my other work as a lawyer. But I always strive to do a beautiful job, at a good level.

• Do you find it difficult to find a beautiful song that suits you?
– no; Because I do not listen and then choose, rather it happens by chance. When I hear a song and get attached to it, I take it. What I mean is that I am not looking for the song, but I let it come at its time and circumstances without pressure, for what is important to me is the quality of the works, not their quantity.
• In your beginnings, we waited for the birth of a star, but your steps are somewhat slow.. Why?
As for the songs, as I mentioned, maybe it’s my fault because I’m preoccupied with my other work. In general, this matter is related to the works and posts presented to me, is it appropriate, and how do I agree with Mr. Fayez Al-Saeed as a producer on the songs and new works that we present, as the whole matter is related to the circumstances, especially in light of my preoccupation with my work.
• Does the law take up half of your time?
Almost all of my time, but at the same time I do not like to exist just for the sake of existence. I will not perform a song just because I have not been on the scene for 6 months, for example. Rather, I want to perform beautiful works, and this is what is important.
• Why haven’t you celebrated weddings yet?
– I still refuse this matter, and the reason for my refusal is that I first want to have a sufficient balance of songs; To sing at weddings, and currently I am working on this by having songs to perform at public concerts as well. I don’t want, in my beginnings, to sing at weddings all the time; So I’m not just a wedding singer.
• However, many female singers consider participating in weddings as a kind of artistic success, as well as for material gains!
– I did not enter the artistic field to search for material, and I feel that the artist who starts from weddings is a little grieved, although this matter is financially feasible, but she will focus less on private songs and public concerts. For me, I prefer to exist artistically first, and to build my independent personality, and to have a good balance of songs, and then I am asked for my art, and not for singing at weddings only, and this needs a balance of songs, and so that I do not limit myself to weddings, as happened with some Female singers we don’t see on stage, concerts or festivals.

• “Ma Istigni” .. Why didn’t you film it in a video clip, and contented yourself with a photographic video with Thebian Saad?
As for the song “What I Need”, we chose a simple vision that combined photography and video. It is not a video clip in the full sense of the word, but it is also not just pictures and words. In general, I think that video clips are no longer as important as they were years ago. There are some songs that succeed today without filming. The basis for success is the sound, melody and words, and I see that the video clip is just a catalyst for the success of the songs.
• What is your new singing?
– One work is ready, and the second is under study. However, the work that will be released soon is a popular song, written by the poet Saeed bin Karaz Al Muhairi, composed by Fayez Al Saeed, and distributed by Nour Hashem.
• After this experience.. Where do you find yourself more, in the popular or ordinary song?
– I can’t decide, part of me loves the popular color, and the other likes the different lyrical colors, but I may be more inclined to the popular color.
• Are you planning to present something in an Arabic dialect other than yours?
– Of course, in a meeting, once, I sang a clip in the Egyptian dialect of the artist Bahaa Sultan, but I did not present a song of my own yet, as the idea is on the table, and it is possible that I will do this soon.
• Do you feel that the Egyptian dialect is the closest?
– The problem is that when I sing, I have to focus on the accent, the exit of letters, etc., and I make sure that I perform it well. Therefore, I think that “Al-Masrya” is the closest, as I sang to Abdel Halim and Umm Kulthum, and these clips may not have appeared, but I can.
