Through a press release, the studies P.A.WORKS announced the production of a new original anime film titled Komada Jouryuusho e Youkoso (Welcome to Komada Distillery). the tape is scheduled to premiere next November in Japan as part of the line of projects “Oshigoto Series (Work Series)” which include works that describe trades and professions in detail, and which includes other anime such as “Shirobako“, “Hanasaku Iroha“, “Sakura Quest” y “Shiroi Suna no Aquatope“.

Sinopsis de Welcome to Komada Distillery
Saori Hayami plays Ryusei Komada, the heiress to a distillery that is having a hard time reviving the popularity of Japanese-produced whiskey, while Yoshimasa Hosoya plays Kotaro Takahashi, a reporter who decides to visit the aforementioned company. The story centers on the young president of an alcohol distillation company, who takes over the reins of the Komada Distillery in her hometown after the death of her father.
