It all happened in the last seconds! The fight for 10th place – like in Switzerland – offered endless suspense, as Löwen Frankfurt and Eisbären Berlin had to go to extra time in their respective matches.
While the Berliners were beaten by the Schwenninger Wild Wings, the Hessians took victory against the Augsburger Panthers and thus obtained the last ticket for the 2023 playoffs of the PENNY DEL. Earthquake among our neighbors: Eisbären Berlin, the defending champion, misses the playoffs for the first time in 20 years!
