“Delano” was closed in Klaipėda’s “Akropoy”: parasites are to blame

The circle closed, but the news reached the portal that the restaurant was forced to close by the specialists of the State Food and Veterinary Service.
The agency promises to provide an official comment in the near future. And after visiting the “Acropolis” itself, there are rumors that cockroaches are to blame for the closure of Delano. After so far, the fault of the cockroaches could not be confirmed or denied.

Official confirmation came Friday that Delano was closed due to cockroaches.

The official response to the portal reads: “The Klaipėda District Supervision Department of the State Food and Veterinary Service (SMVT), Supervision Department, March 12 after receiving a user’s report, regarding possible pests in the restaurant of UAB Delano (Taikos pr. 61, Klaipėda), conducted an unscheduled inspection.

During the inspection, pests were recorded in the production areas of the restaurant, in the storage room, and at the place of release of food products.

A decision was made regarding the suspension of the economic entity’s activities until a separate decision of the State Audit Office, when it will be verified that the deficiencies have been eliminated.”

Friday around 4 p.m. the restaurant released the message: “The State Security Service found a violation in our restaurant, we immediately took all measures to eliminate it. Currently, after a repeated inspection by the State Security Service, we have already resumed the operation of the restaurant. We are cooperating with the service, we have a plan on how we will act so that the violation does not recur in the future, and we adhere to this plan “.
