DELAWARE – Monday kicks off Delaware Ag Week, right on the Delaware state fairgrounds in Harrington.
Officials say it’s a 4-day educational experience that all ag producers need to know about. The event is put on by the University of Delaware highlighting the latest agricultural research.
Stacey Hofmann says having the conference this week helps get more knowledge and connections to everyone at the perfect time. “And the goal of meeting in January is to really beat the busy season so when the farmers get into planting season and all the way through summer and harvest season, it’s hard to catch up with them,” said Stacey Hofmann with Delaware Department of Agriculture.
