French luxury brand Balmain had about 50 pieces of clothing stolen ahead of the women’s fashion show in Paris, France.

Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s chief designer, said on Instagram on the 17th (local time), “About 50 Balmain clothes were stolen ahead of the final fitting before the fashion show,” and “the delivery vehicle was hijacked.”

Balmain was scheduled to present these clothes in Paris, France on the 27th. According to Rousteing, the clothes were being delivered from the airport to Balmain’s headquarters in Paris. Rousteing claims that a group of robbers then robbed the delivery vehicle and stole the clothes. However, the exact details of the stolen clothes were not disclosed.

“Fortunately, the driver is safe,” said Rousteing. “So many people worked hard to create this collection. “We are not giving up and are doing everything again, but this is so rude.”

He added, “It’s really unfair. “My staff and I worked really hard,” he said, adding, “We and our clients’ staff will work harder day and night.”

This news is receiving consolation and support from world-famous luxury brands such as Versace and Jacquemus, as well as famous fashion models.
