KUALA LUMPUR: A father who lost his mental state due to Covid-19 committed suicide by throwing his three children off a bridge. He also threw children from the top of the MRR 2 bridge in Malaysia. Then he also jumped down.

Two children aged eight and five died in the incident. A two-year-old boy fell on the grass. The child was then admitted to the hospital. The child’s condition remains critical. A 38-year-old man from Myanmar threw the children off the bridge and jumped down.

He went out with the children when his wife went to work at the restaurant. His wife also said that he was suffering from some mental problems following being infected with Covid. They have a refugee visa in Malaysia until May 2029.
