Denis Malgin returns to Toronto

Denis Malgin will be entitled to a new chance in the NHL. Toronto signed the player from the Zurich Lions for the 2022/2023 season. His annual salary will be $750,000.

The Solothurn has already worn the Maple Leafs jersey. He had played eight games for the Canadian franchise during the 2019/2020 season. The 25-year-old striker then returned to Switzerland to assert himself with Lausanne and Zurich as one of the very best players in the championship.

Denis Malgin made his NHL debut at 19 with Florida in 2016. He played 184 games with the Panthers (28 goals and 32 assists) before signing for Toronto.

Denis Malgin was still under a three-year contract with the Zurich Lions. But due to agreements between the National League and the NHL, he had the ability to break it at any time.
