Dennis Novak is in the second qualifying round for Wimbledon 2023
Novak needed 77 minutes to make it into the second qualifying round with a 6:3 and 7:5. He already served to win the match at 5:3, but Misolic fought his way back into the game. Dennis Novak’s next opponent will be either the Italian Alessandro Gianessi or local hero Charles Broom.
There was a small surprise a few minutes before the end of the purely Austrian match-up: The Swiss Leandro Riedi defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis, who was in second place, 7:5 and 6:4.
With Max Neuchrist and Jurij Rodionov, two more Austrians are represented in the qualifying draw. Dominic Thiem and Sebastian Ofner have already secured their place in the main draw.
