Dental caravan on the 92nd National Day

The Saudi Dental Association organized a caravan to promote dental and oral health, coinciding with the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom, which roamed the capital, Riyadh, in a number of commercial centers.

Dr. Magda bint Yousef Al-Saib, coordinator of the event and the awareness campaign coinciding with the Saudi National Day in its 92nd year, explained that the campaign was organized under the umbrella of the Saudi Dental Association, with the participation of elite health and administrative cadres, technicians, male and female volunteers, and volunteers in the field of dentistry, noting that the campaign included multiple pillars with its goal. Promoting oral and dental health, including a corner for medical consultations on oral and dental health, a corner for examination and the application of fluoride protection against decay in a mobile dental clinic, a corner explaining how to brush teeth, using dental floss, and distributing toothbrush and paste, in addition to distributing gifts for the National Day for attendees.

Dr. Al-Soaib indicated that the campaign targeted all segments of society, both citizens and residents, with a focus on children and educating them about the method of games and drawing. A drawing corner was allocated for children, and coloring the face in the colors of the Kingdom’s flag, in addition to the examination corner, assessing the person’s condition, knowing his condition, and handing him a paper to go to the nearest center. healthy next to his home.

The coordinator of the Oral and Dental Health campaign on the National Day noted the great cooperation and participation from everyone and the provision of all support and care that achieve what we all aspire to, which is the safety and health of the mouth and teeth in our society, and attention to the role of periodic examination of the mouth and teeth and their importance in maintaining public health.
