NFL 2023: The Denver Broncos preview

the National Football League (NFL) temporada 2023 and one of the teams that is expected to take a big leap in quality is the Denver Broncos, who after a disappointing campaignplagued by injuries and very low individual levels, they fired their head coach to seize the services of Sean Payton.

It was a Relatively quiet offseason for the Broncos if we only mention the arrival of players, because the acquisition of Sean Payton was a gigantic move. The coach came from a “sabbatical” after the end of your contract with New Orleans Saints. The offensive guru knew how to carry the last years of Drew Bress, and it is expected that he can optimize the game of Russell Wilson to achieve a similar result.

The core of the team is still intact compared to last year. Removing Bradley Chubb, who was traded to the Dolphins in the middle of last season, all the “important” players of the Broncos are still on the team. You could say that the most important casualty is Tim Patrickwho suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and will not be in charge throughout the campaign.

Everything is born in the Payton–Wilson connection. The Broncos really need them to work together if they want to have a respectable offense, given the lack of surplus talent at other positions. Jeudy’s injury and Tim Patrick, Sutton’s low level, the slow recovery of Javonte Williamsare all factors that weigh.
The receiving room looked good a few weeks ago, but little by little the lights went out. Jerry Jeudy suffered a muscle injury that will sideline him for several weeks, Tim Patrick will be out all season. The positive were Marvin Mims Jr’s workouts. The same thing happens in the backfield, where Javonte Williams is not yet 100% ready to be the team’s RB1. The acquisition of Perine can help a lot, both in the running game in the red zone, and in short passes.

Denver Broncos defense for NFL 2023
The Broncos’ primary concern on this side of the game is how the team will respond. sin Ejiro Evero as defensive coordinator. In addition to the fact that the talent on this side of the ball is not abundant, outside of Patrick Surtain, who little by little is establishing himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. Denver Broncos 2023 NFL Season Prediction
It’s a highly unpredictable situation because of all the volatile factors on the roster; from the arrival of a new coach, to a possible promotion of level of Russell Wilson. Even so, taking into account the team’s calendar, there are chances that they end with a 10-7 record and fight for a wild card spot.
