Depeche Mode reveals the cause

Following the findings of medical examiners, Andy Fletcher died following an aortic dissection. This disease is often linked to severe hypertension, most of the time untreated, or even to a birth pathology. According to his family, Andy Fletcher died suddenly without suffering.

Last week in London, the family, members of Depeche Mode Martin Gore and Dave Gahan, as well as many friends of Andy Fletcher gathered in his memory to exchange memories and anecdotes about the keyboardist.
