Through an official statement, the leadership of Deportes Santa Cruz reported during this day that DT Fabián Marzuca will not continue to command the club in the current season of Ascent 2023.
“We appreciate the professionalism, commitment and dedication that Professor Marzuca and his coaching staff showed until his last day leading our club, wishing them much success in their next personal challenges,” said the publication issued by the leadership of the “Santacruz” club.
The 32-year-old Chilean coach, together with his staff, arrived at the club at the end of 2022. Despite the good start to the season, the latest results did not accompany the luck of the “crusader” team, who is currently in thirteenth position in the table with 17 points, just four units from the descent.
Marzuca becomes the third DT fired in this Primera B tournament. The first two were Cristian Muñóz and Claudio Rojas, both in the Santiago Morning team.
