Desktop version of WhatsApp introduces fingerprint login facility

Very soon you will be able to login to the desktop version of WhatsApp with just your fingerprint.

WABetaInfo, a site that monitors WhatsApp updates, said in a report that the Facebook-owned company has worked on a fingerprint login system in the new Android beta app.

This feature is similar to the QR code interface that users currently use to log in to the web version of WhatsApp.

But this new feature will provide convenience compared to QR code especially for people who use WhatsApp web frequently.

Thanks to this feature, they will not need to repeatedly pick up the phone and scan the QR code with their camera.

However, in the web version, you must use your phone to sign in, but instead of scanning the code, you can use your fingerprint.

It’s also more secure because QR code scanning can be used by anyone while your phone is in their hands.

Some time ago there were rumors that WhatsApp is working on an update so that users can use the web app without a phone.

However, there is apparently no significant progress on this feature yet, while the company is also working on another feature that will allow users to use one account on multiple devices simultaneously.
