The telecommunications company Desktop was elected the Best Internet in the State of São Paulo by Best Choice Award 2024. The company, which operates in 183 cities in the interior of São Paulo, was the fastest broadband internet provider in the state of São Paulo, achieving the best average speed download e upload. The second position in the state ranking was occupied by Vivo, while the third position was held by TIM.
Desktop’s CEO, Denio Alves Lindo, who founded the company 26 years ago, attributes the recognition to the quality of its own fiber optic network and investments in infrastructure and adoption of Wi-Fi 6 equipment – a new technology that delivers more speed and supports more devices connected at the same time.

The award highlights the best fixed broadband internet providers and is an ally for consumers by offering reliable information for their decision-making in relation to hiring internet service providers. The survey data results from the analysis of 2.8 million fixed internet speed tests carried out by the Melhor Escolha platform from January to December 2023. The recognition for the quality of the service adds to the achievement of other recent awards by Desktop, such as, for example, the Experience Awards from SoluCX, which positions the company as a national leader in customer satisfaction. This also reflects on the company’s financial strength. According to data from the latest financial statement (3Q23), the company achieved another record in Net Profit, closing at R＄40 million, a value 16% higher compared to the same period in 2022.
