Destiny 2: The Witch Queen: King’s Fall Raid starts tonight

New season, new raid. Or almost new. A few days after the start of the Raiders season, the raid of the season kicks off tonight, as always with a world first race.

Tonight at 10am EDT, Bungie will be bringing the classic Raid King’s Fall from the original Destiny to Destiny 2. Those wishing to venture into the Hive Dreadnaught to confront Oryx, the Taken King, must venture deep with the return of this well-loved raid.

As usual, it’s all about a chance to win the World’s First title and belt. Fireteams looking to take on the King’s Falls World’s First race should note the following:

  • The raid will start in competitive mode, which will be active for 24 hours.

  • Wardens must have reached 1560 Power to be ready for all encounters.

  • Completing the raid while Competitive Mode is active unlocks the new Challenge Mode in the Navigator and a Secret Triumph.

  • The fireteam that completes the secret triumph (a list of hand-picked challenges) in this new challenge mode will cross the World’s First finish line and receive their prize.

  • To reinforce the Triumph requirements in Challenge Mode, if you fail to meet the requirements during an encounter, your fireteam will be wiped out.

  • Note: To reduce the load on our servers, no bounties or weapon crafting progress will be recorded during the first weekend during the Kingfall Raid.

Guardians who complete the Raid will unlock exclusive Raid-style items for purchase via Bungie Rewards found in the Bungie Store will be available, such as B. the King’s Fall Raid Art Print and Pin.

  • Kingfall Raid Ring: Unlockable by Guardians who complete the raid by September 6, 2022 at 18:59 GMT.

  • Kingslayer’s Seal – Medallion Collection Pin: Unlockable by anyone who completes the Kingslayer’s Seal and earns the title of Kingslayer.
