Details: de Ligt nobbed PSG move

The silly blog

PSG were on the hunt for a centre-back throughout the January window. Now French media reports that the club had its sights set on a dream name – but got the nod.

First of all, RMC Sport reports that PSG sent a surprise bid to Bayern Munich to sign Dutchman Mathijs de Ligt.

L’Équipe also reports that PSG put a lot of effort into closing the deal, but in the end it was de Ligt himself who snubbed a move to the French capital.

PSG’s pursuit of a centre-back intensified following Milan Skriniar suffered a long-term injury which might keep him out for the rest of the season. Earlier during the window, the club has brought in Lucas Beraldo.
