A statement by the committee, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, “The committee supervising the establishment of unified Friday prayers in Baghdad held an expanded meeting to discuss the development of the latest touches for the success of this obligatory prayer.”
He added, “The committee announced the completion of preparations for this occasion, the most important of which is determining the location of the prayer, which will be near the building of the office of the martyr al-Sadr (may God sanctify his secret) – formerly – Sector 14 in Sadr City, this Friday.”
