DETROIT (USA): Detroit firefighters battled flames, wind and bone-chilling weather during a warehouse fire on Friday morning, December 23, 2022.
The fire was reported around 5 a.m. on the east side, just a few blocks from Belle Island. The building was full of cars and boats, Detroit fire officials said.
Chief James Harris said more than 65 firefighters were on the scene and working when winds hit 55 miles per hour and wind chills pushed temperatures well below zero. Nobody got hurt.
