It’s ready, it’s official: the 2022-23 NBA season schedule has finally fallen! With takeoff scheduled for Tuesday, October 18, 2022 and landing announced for April 10, 2023, the time has come to pack your bags and check your tickets. So we waste no time, and check the Detroit Pistons’ 100% basketball program right away!

A red pen in one hand, the calendar of his favorite franchise in the other, and we take notes in his TrashTalk Diary!

At Michigan Buddies, the schedule reveal isn’t such a heady moment, since it all boils down to determining the order in which the Pistons will get eaten. We’re kidding, but Detroit can’t expect much from this new season in reconstruction mode, except for the progress of its young stars Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey and Co.. Because in Motor City, it is still not the talent that is lacking.

Even if the Pistons won’t be the favorites very often, they could still scratch a few victories early in the season. Opening of the ball against Orlando at home then trip to New York, Indiana and Washington, and if the win streak of Detroit started there? Be careful to quickly come back down to Earth, otherwise the Warriors then Milwaukee sequence (twice) could well take care of it for them. In fact, the Pistons’ calendar seems rather balanced and the matches against the behemoths of the League do not follow each other. We still want to say so much the better, it could have been a real butcher otherwise. Speaking of butchery, Motor City moves to the City of Angels on November 18 and receives the Lakers on December 11, enough to offer us the second round du duel Isaiah Stewart vs LeBron ?

# Plus long road-trip : 6 games in mid-November, including two battles against the Los Angeles teams.

# A few posters to remember: we are looking forward to one thing, the return of matches between French youngsters. Killian Hayes facing Théo Maledon (Thunder), always a real pleasure. We will also note the duels of rookie backs, in particular Jaden Ivey against Bennedict Mathurin at the Pacers, and Shaedon Sharpe at the Blazers. Also to watch: meetings between Rockets and Pistons (late January and late March) to compare the progress of Jalen Green and Cade Cunningham. Finally, the highlight of the show and major highlight of the season at Motor City will be the match against Chicago in Paris!
