The suspicious fire of a car ravaged a home on Monday in Court-Saint-Étienne, we learned on Tuesday from the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office.
A car parked under the carport near a house on rue des Taillettes, in Court-Saint-Étienne, caught fire around 2 p.m. on Monday.
The disaster spread to the house which was completely destroyed, in the absence of the occupants who had gone on vacation.
The Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office does not rule out a criminal origin of the incident. A forensic expert has been dispatched to the scene of the fire and his report is awaited.
