Several cattle died on Saturday evening during a major fire in Burdinne, in the province of Liège, the Belga agency noted on site.
Four bulls died during the fire and Hannut fire crews were still battling the flames on Saturday shortly after 8:00 p.m. The Hesbaye emergency zone was called to intervene around 6:30 p.m. on the farm located along rue Sur-les-Thiers, in the center of Burdinne. The fire broke out in a barn and stables. The firefighters managed to preserve the main building of the farm.
The origin of the incident remains to be determined.
