Bangkok: 33 people were killed in a landslide in a mine in Myanmar. Rescue operations are ongoing in the area. It is concluded that three more people who were working in the mine are trapped underground. The landslide occurred in the mine on Sunday.

Landslides from multiple mines fell into the lake below. The bodies were found in the lake following a search by a team of 150 people in various boats. All the deceased were men. Landslides occur several times a year in mines in Pakistan. 162 people died in the July 2020 landslide. In November 2015, 113 people were killed.
