After Devin Booker’s injury exit Tuesday night in Game 2 between Phoenix and New Orleans (114-125), Suns fans know a little more about the unavailability of their All-Star rear. According to ESPN, “Book” will miss Game 3 on Friday night and Game 4 on Sunday in Louisiana. But he would not yet have been declared “out” for the end of this series of the first round.
Booker had 31 points in 24 minutes before going out against the Pelicans, including a logo shot to close out the first half. The back was injured while trying to challenge a dunk from opposing pivot Jaxson Hayes. Regular season number 1 in the Western and Eastern Conferences combined, Phoenix will have to react so as not to find themselves back against the wall against New Orleans, survivor of the play-in.
