We continue with cool announcements for the Switch – during yesterday’s Indie World presentation Doinksoft and Devolver Digital announced Gunbrella. As the name suggests, in this side-scroller you fight your way through the world with an all-purpose weapon that combines an umbrella and a shotgun.
What is it regarding Gunbrella?
In this noir-punk themed adventure, you take on the role of a gruff lumberjack out for revenge, armed with the mysterious Gunbrella. As you investigate, you will become embroiled in the activities of ghouls and gangsters, cops and cultists, and other increasingly bizarre characters. In a world where natural resources are rapidly dwindling, you search for scrap and spare parts. With it you upgrade your weapon to glide, hover, jump, dive and take down the opponents in dark side-scrolling combats.
The investigation will begin next year when Gunbrella for Nintendo Switch appears.
