Devrim, the child injured by Pierre Palmade, testifies for the first time

The child injured in the accident caused by Pierre Palmade testified for the first time to various French media. The child named Devrim says he feels “GOOD”. On images from BFM TV, we see him wearing a corset and explaining “when I sleep with the corset, it bothers me”. Devrim has been released from hospital but still has to go there regularly: “I went to school, I saw my friends and my mistress, I’m happy“, he adds.

Among our colleagues from TF1, the young victim says he has “a bit of a headache”. Aged 6, the young victim cannot chew anything, according to his uncle who adds: “He eats a little soup with a straw and compotes; (…) He sleeps badly because he is still very scared. He calls his mother and father and it is difficult to calm him down”.

Devrim’s father, who came out of a coma, still has very serious consequences from the accident. His left arm is heavily affected, his two knees too. According to a relative, “He’s been in the hospital for two months already and he can barely stand up straight. He has to be given food and drink, and every day he gets a shot for the pain. Otherwise he can’t not sleeping“, he said at the microphone of TF1.

Recall of facts

As a reminder, on February 10, on a departmental road in Seine-et-Marne, Pierre Palmade was driving a car which hit a vehicle coming in front. In addition to the actor, the accident left three seriously injured: a 38-year-old man, his six-year-old son and his 27-year-old sister-in-law, who lost the baby she was expecting after the collision. In police custody, Pierre Palmade, plagued for decades with drug addiction problems, admitted to having consumed cocaine and synthetic drugs before driving, according to the Melun prosecution. He was indicted for homicide and involuntary injuries by driver having used narcotics in a state of legal recidivism.
