The first cup sensations of the new season are perfect! And they affect two big clubs that come from the Rhineland.
RHINE OUT! Leverkusen and Cologne embarrassed each other to the bone in the first round.
Elversberg – Leverkusen 4:3
The Bundesliga club lost 3: 4 at third division promoted Elversberg. The Champions League club shows a disastrous performance in Saarland!

HSV could almost have added another game to its disgrace collection. In front of 14,700 spectators at third division newcomer Bayreuth, the favorite for promotion to the Bundesliga achieved a difficult 3-1 victory after extra time.
