Dhahi Khalfan comments on the events in Iraq .. and sends a message to the Sunnis about Muqtada al-Sadr

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Deputy Chief of Dubai Police, Dhahi Khalfan, called on the Sunnis of Iraq to rally around the cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr, considering that it expresses a national view that rejects foreign interference in the country and stands in the face of corruption.

Khalfan said in a series of tweets he posted on his official Twitter page: “Al-Sadr is against external interference in Iraq.. I am with him.. Al-Sadr is against armed militias. I am with him.. Al-Sadr is against corruption, I am with him.”

The Deputy Chief of Dubai Police continued, saying: “Muqtada al-Sadr has two passports and two affiliations, like many of the leaders of Iraq..or is he an Iraqi of affiliation..??Al-Sadr occupies the forefront in the love of Iraq..Enough with wordplay,” and added: “Al-Sadr’s demands are rational and logical, and his proposal is correct. 100%”.

Khalfan added, “You have an Iraqi party… and a militia supported by Iran… which side do you stand with… the Iraqi party says logic.” He continued: “Believe me that rallying around Muqtada al-Sadr is the right choice for Iraqis and Iraq.”

The Deputy Chief of Dubai Police believed that Al-Sadr was right, saying: “This is my opinion in response to an Iraqi tweeter who asked me a question. What do you think about what is happening in Iraq.. my opinion? Al-Sadr is correct,” then concluded by saying: “All Sunnis in Iraq should support Muqtada Al-Sadr because Al-Sadr is It means an Iraq without foreign interference.”
