Dhahi Khalfan responds to allegations of Saudi pressure on the UAE to stand with it in the decision to reduce oil production

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dhahi Khalfan, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police, revealed the UAE’s position on Saudi Arabia following US President Joe Biden’s attack on the “OPEC +” decision to reduce oil production.

Dhahi Khalfan said on Twitter: “Someone addressed me via Twitter, claiming that the UAE told Kerry that the Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) pressured it to stand with it in the “OPEC +” organization in reducing production. The ignorant person does not realize that if the UAE chooses to stand with Saudi Arabia or America, it will undoubtedly choose to stand with Saudi Arabia.

He added, “The UAE does not hide its position with the Kingdom. Its position is public and everyone knows it. The Emirati is Saudi and the Saudi is Emirati.. But some militias do not understand that.”
