Dhananjaya Lakshan’s all-round performance, Gal Gladiator makes it to the finals

In the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Galle Gladiators advanced to the final after winning the semi-finals, thanks to a brilliant performance by Dhananjaya Lakshan. Sri Lanka’s former under-nineteen star Dhananjaya Lakshan smashed 23 balls in the semi-final match of the ongoing Lanka Premier League in Hambantota.

Thanks to Dhananjaya’s batting, Galle Gladiator defeated the rival team Colombo Kings by 2 wickets and qualified for the final.

Galle Gladiator scored 151 for 8, skipper Rajapaksa scored 33. Earlier, Colombo Kings set a target of 150 for 9, Bell Drummond scored 70 for Colombo.

Dhananjaya Lakshan was named Man of the Match for his match-winning performance.

It should be noted that Galle Gladiator have won only 3 matches and lost 6 matches so far in the Lanka Premier League 2020-21, yet luck favors Galle and they are the first team to reach the finals now.
