For players who enjoy Diablo® II: Resurrected™, patch 2.5 will be officially applied in-game on September 23 (Korean time). New elements such as ‘Terror Zone’ and ‘Sundering Charm’ are officially applied after several weeks of testing on the public test server, adding strength to the adventures of the warriors in the Sanctuary. The second ladder season will start on October 7th.
Realm of Fear: An optional playable feature, Realm of Horror is designed to give players a fresher way to enjoy their journey to level 99. If you play the game after activating the realm of fear, the Legion of Burning Hell concentrates the power of fear in a specific area every hour, increasing the level and power of all monsters in that area. The experience and equipment that can be obtained by defeating monsters are also given according to the stronger level, which motivates players to continue their adventures in various areas as they roam around the Sanctuary.
Talisman of Destruction: In Hell difficulty, monsters appear that are immune to certain types of damage. The talisman of destruction has the effect of breaking a monster’s immunity type while the player has it in their inventory, so it’s expected to be a stepping stone to more diverse class builds when hunting powerful monsters with this immunity. A total of six new unique giant amulets, including jet black piercing (destroys the monster’s magic immunity) and Bone Crush (destroys the monster’s physical immunity), are available to acquire at the start of Ladder Season 2.

Meanwhile, the second ladder season that players have been waiting for will start on October 7th. By adapting to the changes in hunting tactics with this patch, you can stay ahead of the competition for the top spot on the upcoming second season leaderboards.
Players from our country who achieved glorious achievements in the first season will receive real loot. At the end of the first season of Diablo II: Resurrection, a total of 100 Korean players who ranked in the top 50 in each of the two modes, Expansion Pack Ladder and Hardcore Expansion Pack Ladder, will be presented with a ‘Hunter’s Mark’ real trophy. The trophy is engraved with the character name of the hero who participated in the ladder, and it is expected that it will remain as a token to commemorate the proud achievement of the first ladder season for a long time.
