LOS ANGELES (AP) — Chris Taylor hit a two-run homer and Tony Gonsolin pitched six innings of a three-hit game in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 5-4 victory over Madison Bumgarner and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night.

Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman drove in runs in a three-run fifth inning for the Dodgers, the first games in regarding 48 hours between the two NL West rivals. The series includes a doubleheader Tuesday at Dodger Stadium.

Christian Walker homered leading off and David Peralta added a two-run shot in the ninth for Arizona.

The win went to Gonsolin (4-0), who struck out seven and walked two on a career-high 92 pitches in one day. Dodgers veteran closer Craig Kimbrel completed his sixth save.

The loss went to Bumgarner’s record (2-2), who allowed six hits and three earned runs in five innings. He hasn’t won once morest the Dodgers since September 2017.

For the Diamondbacks, the Dominican Ketel Marte 4-2 with a run scored. Venezuelan David Peralta 3-1 with a run scored and two RBIs. The Dominican Geraldo Perdomo 3-0. The Venezuelan Jose Herrera 2-0.

Latin Americans did not hit for the Dodgers.
