Together they perform The Reason of Hoobastank, a song that took the Antwerp woman out of her comfort zone. “It’s not my best performance but I gave my best“, declares the one who finally won the duel. “I think Amel Bent chose me because I have an atypical voice and am an atypical character.”
Amel Bent, however, will she be able to continue to coach Chérine for the rest of the adventure when she has just given birth to her third child. According to the candidate, the coach will be “always there in one way or another”. “I think she’s going to do her best to be there, whether it’s Zoom or Facetime. She will not leave her team alone.“
Unfortunately, luck was not on Axel Hirsoux’s side during this Battle session. The Courcellois, who found himself facing Caroline Costa and Fabien Cicoletta, failed to stand out on Heavy Cross from Gossip.
