Life as a developer is not easy for GSC Game World. Already plagued by a data leak for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl last July, the studio may well have seen the game’s release date leaked well before its time. Completely destroyed surprise effect or simple keyboard error? doubt remains even if the publisher has still not modified anything on the game page for the moment.
A release date and gameplay information
The release date of the game is displayed by Plaion. The German publisher and retailer has indeed had the good or bad idea of editing the page dedicated to STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl and not just a little… If we are to believe the information now displayed, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is due out December 1, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with day one availability in Xbox Game Pass.
If a date error is not uncommon on online sales sites, Plaion’s history does not really plead in its favor. Indeed, the media group, formerly known as Koch Media, revealed the existence of a Switch version of Darksiders 2 in May 2019, three months before the official announcement.
