Motorists who will have to refuel this weekend may be delusional when they see the figures of euros scrolling on the gas pump. Diesel prices will in fact cross a milestone as historic as they are symbolic this Saturday: for the first time in automotive history in Belgium, it will now be necessary to pay more than two euros per liter in certain service stations (€2.084, maximum price at the pump), mainly those installed along highways. A full 50 liters exceeds, at a high price, now the bar of 100 €.
