“Basic digital education” is also to be taught to special schools from autumn. This is provided for in a draft regulation that Minister of Education Martin Polaschek (ÖVP) sent for assessment. In contrast to AHS lower grades and middle schools, where it is a compulsory subject, the subject should be taught at special schools as a so-called “compulsory exercise” integrated into other subjects.
