Digital payment: 25% of Cordoba do not use cash to pay for services

More and more people are choosing digital payments over cash. In this sense, Córdoba is no exception, since more than half of its population pays province and municipal taxes and various fees electronically.

The data referred to by the Pago Tic platform, which provides services to more than 100 municipalities in the province, maintain that they also choose digital to pay for auctions of the Judiciary and recurring fees from clubs, professional associations and educational institutions.

“According to the last census carried out at the national level in 2022, the total population of Córdoba is 3,978,984 people, therefore we can affirm that 25% of Cordoba habitually make digital payments through our platform” says Fabián Barros Requeijo, president of Pago Tic.

“On the other hand, a million payers in Córdoba are equivalent to 48.3% of the economically active population of the province,” he adds.

The platform, in addition to digitizing tax payments, enables the user to adhere to automatic debit with any payment method: debit card, credit card or bank account debit.

“The fact of having achieved the goal of one million Cordovans and exceeding three million payers nationwide, who pay their taxes, services or fees through our platform, is directly related to our concept of “Respectful Payment”, that prioritizes the user’s right to know what, when, how and how much is going to be debited from their account”, says the executive.

“On the other hand, personalized attention allows us as a company to establish a closer link with payers and with entities that collect digitally through our technology,” he concludes.
