Digitization of public procurement: The CNRD wants to adopt the Rwandan model

As part of the operationalization of the digitalization of the public procurement process, the Guinean government is requesting Rwandan expertise.

This is an announcement made on Thursday June 15, 2023, at the end of a working session chaired by Dr Bernard Goumou, in the presence of the minister director of the office of the Presidency, of the one in charge of Telecommunications, of the technical executives concerned of the Prime Minister, Ministries of Finance, Budget, Telecommunications, ARMP and ACGP.

At the end of this working session, the following measures were taken:

“The implementation of the Rwanda model, an official letter from the Prime Minister addressed to his Rwandan counterpart for the provision of a technical assistance team to assess and develop the Guinean platform dedicated to the ecosystem of public markets. The positive response of the Rwandan Prime Minister for the mission of the requested technical team…”, we read in the minutes of the Council of Ministers.

This Guinean-Rwandan partnership is part of the technical cooperation agreement signed between the two countries, during the visit of President Paul Kagame, carried out from April 17 to 18, 2023, in the capital Conakry.
