DIJON: In October at the Mansart Theater

In October, the Théâtre Mansart invites you to travel to the American West with the latest creation from the Hums company, then dive into jazz standards with a new section of Pimp my Jazz.

In a week, there will be the premiere of Enfant Sauvage, the second piece by the young Hums company.

A researcher and an employee of a laboratory flee on the roads of Nevada with their object of study: a feral child. They then embark on a run in the American West, in the depths of a deep nature that could turn against them.

Mixing documentaries and fiction, Thibault Pasquier & Laurent Robert question the myth of the wild child: What are we without the others?

After accompanying the students of the Dijon University Theater for nearly two years, Thibault Pasquier returns to the Mansart Theater with this new creation that he wrote and directed alongside Laurent Robert (author and actor).

After a first stage presentation at the Minoterie last March, the Company will present Enfant Sauvage on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 October at 8 p.m. at the Théâtre Mansart.

– Wild Child is recommended for children from 11 years old.
– Wild Child: Thursday 13 and Friday 14 October at 8 p.m. / Prices €5.5 to €15

On the music side, we are continuing our partnership with LeBloc this season around the Pimp my Jazz meetings.

The first of the season will take place on Thursday October 20 at 8 p.m. at the Théâtre Mansart. It will bring together renowned saxophonist Daniel Erdmann and guitarist Hugo Fourt, freshly graduated from the ESM Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (Higher School of Music).

The intimate, velvety and talkative touch of Daniel Erdmann on the tenor sax will meet the light and plural touch of Hugo Fourt on the guitar.

For nearly an hour, they will perform jazz standards but also pop or rock.

– Pimp my Jazz: Thursday October 20 at 8 p.m., Free upon reservation
