Volkswagen sees European demand for electric cars falling due to expensive electricity
The demand for electric cars in Europe has fallen in recent months due to high electricity prices, the German car group Volkswagen signals. “Sales are still rising, but have gone off track,” said Thomas Schmall, director of parts division at VW.
