Editions Interférences publish magnificent little books in chiaroscuro, of a delicate and neat workmanship: cream paper in which one dives into a large lake, deep black engravings reproduced on the cover, like a hidden door to the published text. L’Abominosaure by Yuri Bouïda, a major author of contemporary Russian literature, fits them like a glove, as does The Disparates by Francisco de Goya, engraving chosen to illustrate it.
