“Travels with Darley” is kicking off season 11 with an episode exploring the Bismarck area
NORTH DAKOTA, (KVRR) – North Dakota is getting some love in the season premiere of a PBS travel show.
“Travels with Darley” is kicking off season 11 with an episode exploring the Bismarck area.
In the episode, she explores sunflower fields and highlights the region’s art, food and history.
Host Darley Newman says this is her second time visiting North Dakota for her show.
Another episode later this season will highlight the Fargo area and Carrington.
She says North Dakota should be higher up on people’s travel lists.
Newman adds, “You can take a really awesome road trip and experience so much, just the beauty of the state. It may be underrated but it should be rising to the top. We did not save it for last.”
