While many players eagerly await news on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Microsoft Flight Simulator continues to update and invites budding pilots to discover a selection of renowned European cities.
New update available now
This new update, called City Update V: European Cities I, includes five cities meticulously reworked using the latest geographic information and TIN (triangulated irregular network) surface modeling. You will indeed be able to discover or rediscover the key buildings and places of The Hague, Brussels, Košice, Zagreb and Cádiz with new points of interest manually shaped by the studio.
- The Hague The Hague is the third most populous city in the northwestern European country of the Netherlands and the functional center of the country’s governance. This renowned city is the seat of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.
- Bruxelles is the capital and most populous city of Belgium, a country in northwestern Europe. Its rich history dates back to the 10th century and today it is a vital center of national and international governance, finance, art and education.
- Košice is the second largest city in the central European country of Slovakia, after the capital, Bratislava. Situated along the Hornád River on the eastern outskirts of the Slovak Ore Mountains, Košice is the governmental, cultural, educational and economic center of eastern Slovakia.
- Zagreb is the capital of the central European country of Croatia and the country’s most populous city. It is located just south of the Slovenian border, on the southern slopes of the small Medvednica mountain range, which is part of the Dinaric Alps.
- Cadiz, located on the Atlantic coast of southwest Spain, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Western Europe. Founded by the Phoenicians in 1100 BC, it served as an important port over the centuries. Today, Cádiz is the capital of the province of Cádiz, which is part of Andalusia, the most populous autonomous region in Spain.
City Update V is available for free and can be downloaded now from the game store.
If you don’t know Microsoft Flight Simulator, remember that it is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC as well as in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. It is also playable on Xbox One and mobile via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
