KOL Nicolas Chalmeau, who became popular in the clothing industry under the name of Yuthanan, is quietly forging his own fashion path. This Tokyo transplant from Paris, through his own brand Sillage, integrates Japanese craft history into clothing design, featuring loose fit, small production and unique customization.
Focusing on the outdoors, Sillage’s core collection offers long and short aprons to choose from; those looking to wear dungarees year-round can choose from new trouser styles in premium French linen, available in ivory and black 2 There are two kinds of color schemes, and the shorts are mainly in brighter green and orange.
The items worth noting this season, in addition to long and short-sleeved shirts, classic Hakama pants, vests and Circular pants, are not only made of dark tropical wool, but also produced in the “denim capital of the world” – Okayama made of denim.
