The most beautiful flower fields in the world

One of these spaces in particular seems to be unanimously appreciated by the public. A study commissioned by the British hotel chain Premier Inn has just revealed its top 10 most beautiful flower fields around the world this spring. This using the scientific technique of eye-tracking. Concretely, the study analyzed nearly 50 fields from all corners of the globe, from the lupines of Lake Tekapo to the lavender fields of Castle Farm, and retained those which had caught the gaze (fixation) of the participants the longest.

Result ? There is a prevalence of eye-catching fields across Europe, with eight of the fifteen most beautiful flower fields located on the continent. In question ? Probably its long history of horticulture and garden design. Which does not prevent the top 3 from being occupied mainly by countries outside Europe. Indeed, the field of daisies in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile is the field of flowers that seems to attract the most attention, holding participants’ gaze for 3.89 seconds on average, followed by Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny in France, then the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival in Colorado.

Good news for those who don’t want to cross the globe to admire one of these fields of flowers. Belgium appears in ninth position in the ranking thanks to Hallebos and its famous hyacinths. No wonder, since every year, this spectacle attracts thousands of nature lovers from all over the world.
